Pastoral On Call
Is a team of people, each one taking a day or two a month to be at the church and available for pastoral needs.
What do we do?
We are part of the body with a heart to bless and encourage by:
-being available for people to talk or pray with us
-phoning our church family to speak personally to each one out of a heart of care and consideration
-responding to all visitors and first time attendees personally by phone or note
-preparing and updating the ‘Family Prayer & Praise’ section in the bulletin
What can you expect?-You can expect to get a phone call to say, ‘Hello’ you are important and we would like to thank you, bless and pray for you or just talk with you. Or you can expect a message on your phone or a note in the mail.
A volunteer is usually available Mon-Fri, 10am – 3pm or you can phone 250-762-4255 ext213
