In our pursuit in hearing and communicating the heart of God we want to follow these guidelines:

“Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy…everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort…he who prophesies edifies the church.”

“For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” Revelation 19:10

What is prophecy? A Spirit inspired ability to receive and communicate divinely given revelation.

GUIDELINES FOR WEIGHING & TESTING & SUBMITTING A WORD, DREAM OR VISION

“Test everything, hold on to the good.” 1 Thessalonians 5:21

1. Pray & ask for guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is important to have the following attitudes as you seek understanding of your revelation – sincere love for Jesus, His word and the body of Christ. Be willing to lay down personal agenda’s and opinions that could influence your revelation and interpretation and ask first-is this a personal revelation for myself? Finally, have confidence the Lord will guide you.

2. What is the main message? Please try to be brief and succinct when you submit a word.

3. Does it line up with scripture and the principles of the word? Please add relevant scriptures to your submission if possible.
